A native from Cannes, France, Laurent Ziliani started to play the piano at the age of 7 and started composing music at the age of 9. He studied music in Cannes and Aix-en-Provence, while pursuing a Master of Science.
Following his passion for movies, he then became an assistant at various positions in the film industry, both in Paris and in Los Angeles. At that point he decided to further his musical studies at the renowned Berklee College of Music where he pursued a Film Scoring Major.
Laurent is a versatile composer, writing orchestral music, chamber music, electronica, jazz, bossa and funk for various feature films, TV series, short movies and concerts. He is also a laureate of the 2009 edition of Emergence and the 2010 edition of the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop.
